40 years ago last month, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin, (aka those absurdly brilliant men we know now as Monty Python) performed as a group for the first time. In memory of that first moment and in fond memory of Graham Chapman, it felt only fitting to highlight them during this Sound Wave Wednesday. Not surprisingly, Life of Brian continues to be one of the best movies ever made. If you get a chance, check out the IFC Documentary "Monty Python: Almost the Truth" which is currently running repeats this month.
